How We Handle Your Case
Let the experienced Social Security Disability Attorneys of Kelley Stiffler PLLC handle your case for you. We are able to handle cases in all areas of Southwest Florida including Bonita Springs, Naples, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, and Port Charlotte. Your case will be handled by an Attorney, not a non-licensed representative.
When you call our offices, an appointment will be set up to discuss your claim with a Disability Attorney. Paperwork will be provided for your completion and filing with the Social Security Administration which will let them know we are handling your case. Our Attorneys will evaluate your case with you, and walk you through the disability process so that you know what to expect, and what is needed to prove your claim. We will assist you in obtaining the documentation and medical evidence needed to present to the Social Security Administration so that you claim will be accepted.
The Social Security process is complicated. After your initial denial is received we can help you by filing a Request for Reconsideration. It generally takes three to four months for Social Security to consider your application for Reconsideration. If your case is denied at the Reconsideration stage, we will file a Request for Hearing on your behalf. Generally it takes between 12 and 16 months to obtain a hearing date once the Request is filed. At all stages of the Social Security process after the initial denial, we are your Advocates.
We look forward to helping you with your Social Security Claim, and thank you for selecting our firm to represent you.
